Question turn signals and taillight restoration?

hello.. my first post as i just picked up a 94 VR standard model with mint paint, interior, and a great engine on jan 12 '02.. i was wondering about the front turn signals.. they are a little dull, yellow.. can u polish them so they are like new cant find new one's on the web.. are there any? and anyone have an opinion about the 99 rear lights? thank you.

There is a 2 step cleaner/polish made by Mothers. Its inteded for exactly what you said. I've used it on my scuffed up tailights and it worked wonders!

Use any minor abbrasive like Meguire's Scratch X or 3M swirl remover. Then go to a polish. It will clear it all up. Meguire's also have plastic polish but no sence buying it if you can use the same stuff that you use on your paint.

And if the above dont work.......take them out and bring them to someone who restores cars or even polishes metal. They have a special rouge for plastics that will buff out that dull finish.
