TurboXS standard boost controller is a POS...
I bought it a while ago, but never used it since the car boosted OK, but after performing a full vacuum hose job on my car (has a DP and RB intake duct/K&N air fliter), I started to get boost spikes at transition (12psi when the secondary comes on WOT), so I figured that I'd install the TurboXS to reduce the boost a little. After setting the controller to it's "lowest" boost setting, I took the car out and it hit 13psi on the only 3rd gear WOT test I did. Took it home and blew threw the controller and airflow was even more restricted than the stock pill. Moreover, adjustments to the boost controller didn't have any impact to the airflow... What a POS!
So I think I'm gonna go with a manual bleed valve or a ball-spring valve. Anybody using one with good results?
Thanks!

I set it up very conservatively (6 threads showing above the lock nut) to start out with and BAM, perfect 10-8-10! No adjusting whatsoever. Finally done with my FD longevity project and couldn't be happier with the way my 104k mile (original engine) car is running. Thanks again!
