Turbos are starting to go out... debate
My primary turbos are starting to go out. They are the original stock turbos (107k on them now) and the primary turbo is leaking oil pretty bad now and I can feel it if I boost on it.
My options are, go single or buy another set for twins and have them replaced. At this moment, I do not have all the money to do a complete single setup. I have all the supporting mods done to single the car other than fuel upgrades (upgraded injectors and pump and tune)
So the question is, do I push and get the single turbo done now (what are estimated costs of kit and install) or shell out $300-$350 for a good set of twins and wait another while to go single?
My other option with me going with another set of stock turbos is saving the money to do bodywork (burnout kit possibly) and paint and do single turbo next summer.

What's the state of your engine? I'd hate to see you going for broke with a single setup only to have an engine rebuild soon after that which will put you even further in the red.
I'd say save your money and get a good set of seconds hands then leg it out until you've got more than enough for a single.

If you're not in a hurry to get the single set up I'd say wait and just get a set of twins to hold you over. You seem pretty interested in doing some body work so I'd do that first and get the big muscle next summer.
