^^Good post Stephen, lots of good info there. Seems like for those wanting to run twins, the efini are great for stock applications while the BNRs are ideal for those wanting to make the big power #s.

Thanks for all the advice. it seems the consensus is that rebuilds are **** and not worth time, money or effort.

i have done some 'searching' on the efini twins and BNR replacements, and one of these two choices seems the way to go.

as far as i can tell, based on what has been said here and the reading i have dont on the efini tt, is essentially the same as the original stock turbos and using them would require no other mods to the car

wasn’t able to turn up to much detail on the BNR's other than there are several stages, and seem to come from Alabama. also judging form the posts the BNR upgrades require other mods to the car. are these BNR turbos rebuilds or new manufactured parts?

each situation is different. If you have very few mods you'd probably be ok running some BNR's. If you are already borderline then you'll need an a computer or some tuning. Basically if you had a bone stock car more than likely you'd be fine with some BNR's. However, if you have a intake, dp, cat back running 10psi which is basically the safe limit for the stock ecu then you'd more than likely go lean running BNR's with no ecu upgrade. Its a case by case situation.

They are brand spanking new turbos with our compressor and turbine housings adapted to them so they will bolt up. They are MUCH more beefy and durable than the stock twins.
