So I just recently had to purchase a new turbo timer (HKS type 0) due to my old one decided to crap out on me. I install everything using the specific harness and took the car for a drive.

After about 10 minutes the car suddenly started to completely shutdown. I was luckily able to roll into a parking lot and try to restart the car without any luck. All it would do is crank. So a couple minutes goes by and the car finally decided to start up. I try to rush home and again the car dies although this time instead of it starting after a bit it doesn't at all, just cranks.

I ended up unplugging the turbo timer from the harness and boom starts up right away. So I obviously know the timer is the issue.... i think, but why?

Best advice anyone will give you is to get rid of it. Do a search. Turbo timers are worthless.

I haven't seen a turbo timer thread in years. I thought everyone had wised up.
