Exclamation Turbo help: need assistance (searched already)

Was driving today and stepped on it half throttle in thirdto get ahead of traffic and merge, when I came to light I noticed something billowing from the hood, pulled over and saw what looked like a mist or steam coming from the twins. looked at BOV and saw that it blurbed up oil on my apexi filters. It has never blown oil like that before. drove it home fine not getting on boost. When I got close to home I gave it some juice and saw a small puff of smoke come out of exhuast, stepped on it again and no smoke. Boosted correctly and drove fine. engine and turbos have 16k on them. The only thing I can think of that has caused this is the other day I was gettin low on oil so I put 2 quarts in to get me through till I could get an oil change. could I have put too much oil in? would it cause these symptoms? What I can conclude from my feeble search is that maybe there was bad oil in and it messed up the turbo oil grooves and with new oil messed it up or....I have no idea, please help me. thanks-BB

ALWAYS stay ontop of your oil. Sure, it's possible you burnt the seals in the turbo. Being out of enough oil to have to put 2 quarts in isnt exactly good... Then again, if you DID overdo it with the oil, some of it could be being sucked out through the turbos.

What color was that puff of smoke from your exhaust?
