Are these just regular rubber hoses, i'm going to take it apart because I suspect a leak there... any pictures anyone? keep finding dead links, what section of the FSM is this covered in?

Yes, they are just regular reinforce rubber coolant hoses. Although for a replacement I would only get the Mazda parts.

Not sure which links are dead - if you forward them to me I'll do what I can to recover the link.

I mean most of the pictures are dead etc and I was looking for pics, i'm going to go remove the airpump and try to find the culprit i guess
