tunnel runs - and loving that sweet sound

I took the FD out for a spin yesterday since the temps were up in the 50s and all the snow/ice was gone, as it hadn't been out in a long, LONG time.
In Wichita, there is a tunnel on Central street created by an overhead runway for Beechcraft. One of my favorite things to do is making full-throttle runs thru the tunnel, with the windows down, listening to that rotary wail.
I made three runs each way yesterday, lol. I just couldn't get enough of it!

It is even more fun with open dump wastegates. Tunnel runs are the only good part about driving through Manhattan, one on each side. They just charge you an arm and a leg to use them. Haha

I get it.
Unfortunately no tunnels up here. Just a few long over-passes, but usually you can't slow down enough to row thru more than one gear.

Like our lower Wacker Drive here in Chicago, is a underground path that go through the city to bypass traffic. I love driving through it when I'm in the city, especially after they reopened from being shut down for a year to add more lights.

^^You get to drive through LOWER WACKER......???!?

I am so goddamn jealous. I saw that place in the Batman movie and it looked so cool...

We have no tunnels here. I have never driven through a tunnel in my life, and my car is landlocked by sea on this island. It will probably never see a tunnel in its life. You can understand my jealousy.....

^ what town you in? theres a few tunnels here in melbs. Only thing is they have fixed cameras set every couple hundred metres and the speed limits are typical nanny-state condescension. Still sounds good just burbling along though. I give it a squirt under the odd overpass now an then

reverse your car into your garage , get an oxygen mask . use oxygen mask , now rev the car to redline while pretending to shift gears ..
