TT control problems.
Hi. Im on my cell and have poor reception and tried to Sarah for a thread i saw, That described this very problem buti could not find it and i keep loosing reception. So, sorry bout this thread.
We are on a car Trip and have twins control issues.
Symptoms:
When starting in 1st gear we have full boost on twins in seq. Gearing to second, boost goes to 0 on both turboes and we have to drop to under 2000 rpm to "reset the system" to get full boost again. Dropping to under transition rpm area does not help, we have to drop to 2000/idle rew area to "fix" the problem... Same if we start in second and go to Third for ex. Weare Thinking turbo control solenoids, what do you think? Checked for leaks etc...
Thanks for help :-) again sorry for not searching well. Keep loosing reception...

If you can get full boost in 1st gear then it's not a leak.
If you can "reset" it under 2000 rpm, then what's happening is either a solenoid or check valve is getting stuck when the boost goes up, so it takes a few seconds to get un-stuck when the boost goes back down.
So now you basically need to go in and test the solenoids/check valves to find out which one is causing the problem.
Here's a link for some help:
