Trying to figure out the value of an RX7 i've ran accross

I personally own two, but in today's economy I'm not sure what one of these would go for now. It is a 93 base and I'm looking to buy it to turn a profit, I have an inside at an auction and the dealer who wants to unload it.

Its got a list of bad attached to it:
121k miles
no history on the engine
stock turbos, stock airbox. The rats nest has been hacked, looks like a poor mans non-seq, not sure, solenoids are still intact but most of the vacuum lines have been removed. I didn't check the computer, ill assume stock since it seems all the important stuff to run a stock computer is there.
Car has been painted flat black, no big dings anywhere, good frame.
The door jams are still red from the original paint along with the engine bay and trunk area.
stock wheels
The tan Interior looks like it has 121k miles on it. Typical cracking, I've seen worse.
Trans seems ok, I only got to drive it in the lot. First gear was hard to get into.
There is a clunking in the rear when there is power transfer i.e. if you apply or remove power there seems to be a shift that is causing a clunking. I cannot tell if it is the diff, linkage, diff mount, or drive shaft. It is NOT the PPF.
If it is worth my time I can actually get the car in my possession to give it a compression test.
The only history I have on the vehicle is that it was a trade in at a dealership for a truck. I have the vin if anyone can run a carfax for me. I know that it is NOT a salvage title.

I know its a big list, but if anyone can give me an idea, let me know. Thanks!

Sounds about like a $6-7K car, you need to be in it well below that. Selling a fd is difficult right now with the current lending situation in our country, selling a flat black/primered rx7 with shitty interior and suspensions bushings and no history of the engine would be down right a pain in the ***.

Your best bet would be to sell it as a roller for $4-5k and then sell the engine/trans/etc.

oh yeah, I've bought things from him before, he is the master.

The guy im working with is a bit shady. I'd be in it 5k, not something I really want to deal with, not to mention the wife would be pissed unless I can make some good cashola. I've decided to call it off as these are the answers I was expecting and I down right don't feel comfortable with the guy.
