Trunk lid rattle

Does anyone know how to stop/lessen the rattle of the deck lid? I have a 99-spec wing. I thought about putting black tape around the connection, but unsure if that would work.

is it a rattling or squeaking? After installing a 99 spec rear wing on my fd, I noticed there was a loud squeaking noise coming from the rear hatch. I removed the upper interior panel, and stuffed a bunch of cotton in there, and no more squeakin lol

Also I replaced the rear hatch bump stoppers, they are cheap from Ray and should help to stop unwanted hatch noise

I had the rattle/squeaking. What I did was raised the 2 rubber stops and that worked for me. They are located in the water channel between the fender and the rubber by the tail lights.

Rattle from the back can also be an UCA bushing - I'll let you know shortly if it fixed the problem

You can also try wrapping the latch in electrical tape if that's the culprit.
