I have finals the following week, cannot justify spending the whole weekend + Monday there....stay for MOnday with unlimited if you can

ps: an "excuse" for not new lap times at Laguna Seca, I found a broken front sway bar today...hahah

Hey man I don't blame you, if I had the $'s laying around I might have "upgraded" too. It'll be fun to see what that thing is capable of in turn 1 at BIR, I think I hear 160 calling your name...

hehhe, yeah, with the setup fabian has done on it, i bet it can hndle 160 through the entire turn 1 and probably turn 2 also, but im sure i can't yet, at least without having to cleaning my pants after it :-)

my first goal is to get the stcloud lap time record, and since i was only a few seconds off with my 95, im sure it will only take a few sessions to get close to it with this car...but i have to learn the cars personality first.

Now that you don't need to spend so much time fixing yours (since it's already killer) you can help me mod mine right?

Actually ever since you played with the pills and I cleaned the BOV it's killer. You need to open a garage or something and start charging.

Nope I picked one up off the forum.

Actually once I disassembled and cleaned the one I had it was fine. There was just too much junk built up inside it.

Damian.
Congrats, You must come to MRR next year. So my CYM won't be alone. I am thinking way ahead in the spring to do some track time at Road America. May be the May BMW club event... come on down!

hey ken, I dont think id drive the track fd to MRR, its a very rough ride on the street, it has very stiff springs/swaybars and id break my back by the time i got there..... but actual track events at road america I am interested in, just have to figure out how to get the car there (hehehehhe) ....I may have to just endure the painful trip :-) (heheheh)

If I were you, I'd be on eBay looking for a decent used trailer.

Congrats on picking up a dream track car. Enjoy it for all of us. BTW, I'll be looking forward to your new movies.

heheh i know, but even if i get a trailer i dont have anything to pull it with, so that combo of trailer/puller is another adventure for a later date.... i do pretty well, but im by no means a rich guy, so i have to save up for that combo.

thanks :-)

yeah, i do plan on making anotehr clip of an entire lap of LS with all 3 angles in the screen at once, but that will come when i get time.... no real sound to use since the cam was mounted outside of the car and all you get is VERY loud violent wind noise, no usable sound.

i have way too much raw footage to pu online, but I will make a dvd of the two edited clips and all teh raw footage, I can send u a copy, just remind me once i post the next video, that is when i will have the dvd ready.

Damian,

What rubber is on the car? Just curious what he was using for the track.
