Triangular O-ring for TB??
You got it right. It's not cheap (like $5-8 or so) but if it's installed right you'll have a leak-free connection for a LONG time to come.
I use super glue to install it. I've tried RTV and everything else, but good ol' super glue holds it in place perfectly for a long time to come. Trust me

I've had the O-ring slip a number of times during later R&R's of the throttle body elbow - a slight slip, and it will crush the O-ring and cut it. Went through about 2-3 O-rings until I superglued the sucker into the groove. Problem solved
.
Funny thing is, FC's have the same TB O-ring, but they NEVER have problems like the FD does. Go figure!

The ones from Nashville Rubber and Gasket cost under a dollar, I get 5 at a time .I also use a few spots of super glue .WE usually put a new one on when we polish a TB . The dealer in Nashville quotes $ 14 to regular customers for one o-ring .

You can get a bag of 25 of those from mcmaster for like $5.
Someone on the board did that and was kind enough to give out free o-rings. I got myself one and it fit fine, but was a hassle to put on! Kept falling off haha..
