My local autozone is saleing them for like 40$. I can also rent a transmission jack locally for 20$ a day. but i figure if this thing work, why spend 20$ a day for rental when i can a transmission jack for 40$.
thank you for your input,

I have one, it didn't help me since I was working with a car on jackstands. If you put this adapter on a regular floor jack, the base will be about 10" off the ground. So you can get the jack + adapter under the tranny to remove the tranny, but you won't be able to get the tranny out from under the car. The bellhousing just stands too tall. So if you have access to a lift or very tall and stable jackstands, this adapter is fine. But you'll probably need 30" from the bottom of the car to the ground.
