Hey guys...ever since I got my 93 Touring a year ago, it's had trouble shifting from 3rd to 4th. Under normal driving, if I shift nice and slowly, it works perfectly fine, but it's when I need to do a quick shift that it always grinds. The same thing happens if I downshift from 5th to 4th as well...

I'm not really all that well versed in trannies, so I'm not sure what exactly the problem is. If any of you guys can fill me in, it would be greatly appreciated.

Also I'd like to know what a ballpark figure is to get it fixed and if it is absolutely necessary to fix it.
