After searching, I found symptoms and no cause of my problem. I was trying to trouble shoot my Tachometer problem, when a tech. mentioned that the tach. gets a signal from the trailing coils. Suddenly it clicks; when I was having my mechanic check if my oil pressure sensor was going bad, he drenched the unit with brake cleaning spray. I didn't think much of it at the time, but the coils are right near the oil sensor. Maybe getting that brake cleaning crap on my coils screwed them up? Anyone have any opinions?
