i am thinking of purchace one and i want to know what options do i have. what is the purpose of dumper? i mean that it is not fixed in length so how it secures the engine movements? it seams that the fixed length torque brace is a beter solution?
i want to hear your opinions.
what torque braces are out thete available?

Solid will transfer more engine noise/vibrations into the chassis

Damper will not hold the engine as well but will dampen the noise/vibration


It's really a trade off as to what you want to do with your car. One thing is for sure, you need to make sure your motor mounts are in good condition before adding an engine torque brace. IMO, it doesn't make sense to add a solid brace then use soft engine mounts, kind of counter-productive. I have a solid brace and solid motor mounts.

 

Its a bandaid. The proper solution are stiffer motor mounts and differential mounts.
