Top of shock after spring install, does this look right?

I installed a set of eibach springs on my factory shocks. It is the "pro-kit" that so many people have.

Here is a picture of the rubber piece that used to sit against the strut tower, now it is a few millimeters off of it. It looks the same whether the car is jacked off the ground with the suspension hanging, or sitting normally on the tires without being on jacks. Can anybody confirm that this is alright? I installed everything according to the FSM and torqued everything as recommended.

That is not a problem. Mine did not touch when I had stock shocks and springs.
