Took some pics of my CYM the other day...

Well this is my second FD, the first one was a black 95 R2. I sold that in June 2004 and then in Feb 2005 I picked up my CYM. I've only put about 1500 miles on it since last Feb, but it's been fun She's still pretty stock except for the footwork and suspension, but the power mods are coming later this year.

Mod list:
- Wheels: Work Meister S1, 3 piece, 18x9 +43 front, 18x10 +43 rear
- Tires: Bridgestone RE050A, 255/35/18 front, 285/30/18 rear
- Suspension: Zeal B6 Coilovers, 11kg front, 10kg rear
- WideFoot Racing billet front sway bar mounts
- Rotary Extreme toe Links
- Rotary Extreme trailing Arms
- Brakes: Endless 6pot Mini Inch-up kit, front
- Engine: SR Motorsports downpipe, reliability mods

For more pics, and high-res versions go to www.cabaynes.com/cym.html and click the thumbnails to open the big pics.

I'd also like to say a special thanks to Rishie at www.AutoRnd.com, he's been a great help putting her together so far.

Anyway, on with the pics:

WOW...I've been looking for the right combination for my CYM but the question is what size would they have to be so as to not have to roll the fenders? Nicest combination I've seen on a CYM to date.

Ernie you know me! haha, well at least I remember meeting you.

Last time I saw you was at the big MIR Event last fall when you had the CYM out against some supras I was there with Dan (scrub) and we got to see you run a few times. We left as you were in the staging lanes but we stopped and talked to you for a few mins. My CYM was there, but it was all stock then.

My car can only dream of your motor for now

The setup I have is just pushing the maximum for the stock fenders but I will roll them to be on the safe side. If you want to run a setup like mine, 18x9 fron and 18x10 rear and the same size tires, you should try to find wheels with an offset higher than +46.

However, you could run a lower offset if you wanted to run skinnier tires on the wheels and stretch them. Thats just not worth it though in my opinion, but it is hard to find wheels that have just the right offset for the FD. If you need any help you can send me a PM.

Very nice and clean setup, I like it a lot.

When rolling just be sure to use a heat gun and take your time. The stock paint sux and will flake off if your not very careful.
