I've researched just about every wheel there is for 3rd gen. RX-7s. I ended up buying a set of Fikse FM/5s but sold them after a while and I'm still looking into what my next wheels are going to be. I'm just too damn picky.

thanks for all the comments guys. I figured a lot of people wouldn't like the Gold/silver combo. I like it because it's different. Personally I think it looks pretty good. Seems like me and Stokedxiv are the only two. I guess you have to have a certain taste. I haven't decided if I want to paint the hood yet, the one in that picture was just a prototype and I still have to install the production one ASAP, before Chuck goes crazy and kills me.

I figure if it can beat you on the road/track then you really can't say anything about it. So if you don't think you'd be able to beat my car on the street/ road course then please hold your comments to yourself Eventhough I was debating getting a set of the gunmetal TCIIs....I don't think they make them in the offset needed though. I was either thinking the gunmetal or a nice wheel with a lip, but most of the good ones are already played out. I have other things I need to do before thinking of getting new wheels though..ex: LSD, seats, harnesses, cage...stuff like that.

Speedking: I used this spray plastic tint stuff, cost me like $30 at my friends performance shop. A quick google search gave me this....I didn't order from here though.

I haven't thought of being a photographer for a magazine, because for one I haven't really thought I was good enough to shoot for one and also I don't know anyone who works for one and usually that is the only way to get a job now a-days.

oorx7- You car looks damn nice. I have the Vertex sideskirts sitting in my friends shop. I just have to find time to test fit them and then give them to the painter man along with the Vertex front.

haha, sorry about that I wasn't really near it much. I wanted to run it down the track but the lady that takes your money took all of mine. I was walking around most of the time.

Edit: Thanks Phil, are you gonna be at pettit le-mas this year? I'll be down there next thursday-sunday.

Hey Scrub

(As you know) I love the car. She's lookin better and better every time I see her! While the gold on silver may def. not be the norm, I think it definitely works, and will look even better once you put on the Vertex front & sides. She's gonna look SICK.

~Ramy

PS...DAYUMN son you got some photography skillz. Next time I'm up there, I'mma have you snap some pics of MY car lol

Speedking, the FM-5s are absolutely lovely. I dunno why you got rid of them Ever give the Andrew Racing V a look? Similar wheels, but prettier IMO.

Dan-
Nice pics man. I'd say something about your car, but I see it almost everyday anyway, so I'm kinda sick of it

Charlie - You say we need to get wrenching again....I'll quench your thirst soon because my engine needs to come out. I figure after this weekend I'll start cracking again. I can't wait!

First off, the car is beautiful. I love the lowered wingless look, very clean. My question is, what kind of bulbs are you using for the front lights. They have a Xenon look to them and they must be very bright to look that way through the tint.

Matty- I am running on the Tein Flex suspension, it is a little soft for my liking. On highways if I go over a bridge or a big enough bump the front will bottom out into the liner, and sometimes when entering my driveway the diffuser will scrape. I had the generators on the sides but took them off since I didn't like how far they stuck out.

I bought the diffuser off of a former member, it's an original RE-Amemaya diffuser with the botech generators. I paid $800 for it. You can purchase them through Chuck at www.rotaryextreme.com. I'm not too sure on the pricing though.

Adam- Yeah, I'm getting sick of looking at it too. I know all the little imperfections and each one is like a knife in me.

Yellowgslse- The front lights are actually little LEDs, they aren't bulbs. I know autobacs in Japan sells them...I don't remember the name of them though. They cost about $35 for the pair.

Edit: COsborne - I am using a Nikon coolpix 5700.

Once again thanks for the compliments, I need to work on my photo skills. I spent about an hour taking all of those. I think I took about 100 in total and I had a blast doing it. If I had a tripod I think they would have come out better.

Regards,
Dan

I have a few things done to the engine. I'll take some pictures and post them when I get a chance. A short list.....T-66 dual BB, Gotham Race port, RA seals, V-mount IC, HKS twin power, LWFW, ACT S/S clutch with extreme pressure plate....umm full exhaust. I don't know I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, they usually do a better job.

nice pics. i love doing the night pics like that.. i would really recommend a tripod it makes a HUGE difference but you did a good job at keeping the camera steady. Ever think of painting your hood to match the car? i I think the car would flow a bit better, still looks great. Maybe try that up in photoshop nice car!

Man,nice photos but i don't believe that you took them without a tripod.Especially for the last two, there is no way to keep the shutter open for 5-6 sec and have such a clear image....

Regards,

Stathis

P.S i love the rims.
