took a look at my brother's set up, i got ???s

We lifted the car up and I took a look underneath, I found a peice of wire holding something thing that looks like a lever thats attached to the bottom of the exhaust manifold. It doesn;t move just stays in one spot.

Another thing I noticed.. There appears to be some type of boost controller or something thats got clear tubes running in and out of some manual controller.

I hear a leak from either the turbo or the manifold, which would it most likely be? When he steps on the gas there is smoke everywear. and when hes coasting theres also smoke everywear.. we know he needs to lines replaced because it smokes like crazy when he fills up the oil level to more than half.

He just bought another sequential turbo set up for $100. Appears to be complete. Where can we get a rebuild kit.

I know I should do searchs and stuff, I didn;t waste this bandwidth for nothing.. for some reason I can not complete searches the loading bar stops halfway and then switches to that white page..wtf?

Rebuilding FD turbos is a tall order for a pro, much less a DIY kit. I don't recommend it.

It sounds like the turbo control actuator is wired open as part of a 'poor mans nonsequential' setup.

The smoke under throttle is probably due to the turbos being blown. Get good turbos in there (new or used) and that should take care of it.

The smoke during coasting is more troubling - is it the same color/smell as when he's on the throttle?
