Too much oil = white smoke...

I know that oil is circulating in the engine from the turbo through the intake and being burned (lots of white smoke). I don't think it's the turbo, I've got a lot of oil in the engine and thin it's got somethign to do with the gravity feed for the oil leaving the turbo (could it be clogged)? It's an apexi rx6 single. The turbo was great one day, then i replaced the oil line and put way too much oil in (shop that did it put in 5 quarts...), tomorrow i'm going to flush the whole system and put oil back in, but any ideas why it's smoking? Would too much oil cause it to smoke? It is to the top of the crosshatched area on the dispstick, is that too much?

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, what you're describing is a dipstick reading 'Full,' which is where you should be. Are you sure they put in 5 quarts? Also, white smoke usually denotes coolant. When and where exactly is it smoking?
