Too Much Back Fire

(93 fd) I understand that running rich often cause of back fire but this is ridiculous... I'm getting way too much back fire.. I had a porblem with the engine eating up coolant... but used the K&W block seal and it seems to be holding up thus far. Was wondering when I had that water leak could it have messed up my plugs by chance... THe car was runnig fine even with the water leak, but only for a little while.. DO i need new plugs.. GEtting light white smoke.. and it reeks of fuel.. infact my whole damn apt.. smells like fuel.. heheh.. Any help would be great... ANd it is back fire coming out of the exhaust.. not intake..

thanks

gredd-t78, mp, apexi gt, sr radiator, fmic, you know the usual heheh but this may be a surpirse.. running stock ecu.. my wastegate is open so it doesn't hold boost.. leaking i guess the word is.. i don't take the car over 2.5k rmps.. so boost is not building and feeding it fuel is not an issue at this point.. tooo much fuel is an issue a this point... kinda fell like it' missing.. i was hoping that it might just be the plugs being damged from when i had a water leak on the engine.. any ideas? suggestions anything would be great...

the light white smoke isn't a problem and it smells like fuel cause of your mp and catback. Your plugs should be fine but yank and inspect them and replace if necessary.

Get a new ecu with a better map for your mods. It'll make a difference in performance and tuning. It's also just safer.
