Definitely a scam, that isn't a custom K&N intake and doesn't look like a pettit SMIC.

And if the battery is relocated to the trunk, why is it still in the engine bay? lol He could have at least tried to make it look legit.

Check my other thread, Marky... I think I found one to get. Dewayne is probably going to come up and help me rebuild the motor, too.

I emailed the guy in the ad, I'll let you all know what he says.

The info we DIDN'T see -

This car features many performance parts.
(Most of which I am making up) It has a full exhaust system including a downpipe, high-flow cat and cat back system all installed at RP. There is a dual K&N intake kit installed to feed the twin turbos.(I forgot it actually is an APEXi, so I just said K&N) The car also has a large mount pettit intercooler with the battery relocated to the trunk. (These people are too stupid to realize this) The car has a massive fluidyne radiator to keep it cool in the heat. The front brakes have been upgaded with drilled rotors that are surrounded by 17 inch racing sparco wheels with brand new 235/45 Khumos on the front and 275/40's on the rear. There are 5-way adjustable tokico shocks at all four corners. Last winter I replaced almost the entire solenoid rack as well as switching the vaccum lines to silicon, [B]this is the point where I dropped a nut down the lower intake plenum. That cause the destruction of the front rotor's apex seals. The rear rotor was already going bad from the underhood heat temps, that were NOT fixed by my fake fluidyne rad I said I have. The interior has a greddy turbo timer and an autometer boost gauge. I have a knight sport flashed ECU, but it is not installed.(Why? Because I really DON'T have it) The overall condition of the car is great. The body is in good shape along with the paint. There are a few blemishes from small rocks on the highway, but overall the paint still looks great for a 10+ year old vehicle. The interior is fantastic with the only small blemish being the driver's side bolster. It is showing the normal wear that all FD3S' tend to show. I only drive the car on weekends and occasionally during the week. It's never been wreck and doesn't smoke anymore. You will not be disappointed. It also has a clean title. PLEASE E-MAIL ME BEFORE BIDDING BECAUSE I WANT TO SELL MY CAR VERY FAST! nthjules@yahoo.com

Well, I would have you come up here and help, but hell hasn't frozen over just yet.

Have you seen what he's doing to his FC? It's going to be pretty crazy when it's done.

haha, it hasn't been driven in 3 years if it is true. The last odo check was in 2002 and it had the same mileage as listed in the add.

Ohh and not to nitpick but its a HKS timer and why in the hell does he have the stock CD unit mounted over an aftermarket deck?

Ohh and the "Please E-mail before bidding!" is priceless..

Sorry to drag this trash back up, but it gave me a snicker.

Yeah, we saw these pics before - it never ceases to amaze me how people will put something on an airbag like that (sort of like packing a bullet over a casing loaded with gunpowder), or those old people who drive with their seat way up, hold the wheel at 11 and 1, and almost lean on their forearms.

Well, the guy emailed me back saying he still has the car for sale. I asked for more info, and I guess I will try to get him to meet me somewhere in CT. Any CT guys want to meet up to look at it?
