is Tokico Illuminas 5-way a good setup?? Just wondering, and my car's stock spring/shock is turning bad... so i just needed some advice.
I'm not a hard core racer or anything, but I've had them for over 6 years. I like them. The adjustability is great and easy to change the settings.
Tokico has a lifetime warranty on their struts. I recently blew a strut and they sent me two new rear struts. Gotta love that.

Had the Illumina's with the Tokico's on my old T2...loved em'
Just like jpandes posted, they're easy to adjust, and are surprisingly effective.
Great for the price.

Personally I don't like tokicos. They are a cheep shock and don't ride very well. For the price however, they aren't that bad. I know a speed shop that refuses to sell them. The owner has a shock dyno and has yet to find a set of tokicos that all spec out the same. By the time you buy the shocks, springs, and new upper mounts you might as well get a real coilover setup for just a bit more money.
I used them on my NASA Pro 7 race car where it was the spec shock, and later put them on my FD that I also raced for two years. Worked well for both applications set lots of fastest laps of the race with the FD using those socks.
Just got a brand new set for my present FD to replace the stock touring shocks but, have not had a chance to put them on yet. Nice to be able to run soft for the rough roads and tighten them up for good quality roads, twisties and race tracks. Adjustments don't get much easier than those shocks.
Would be nice to have separate rebound and compression adjustments but, what do you expect for less than $400?
