Good luck artguy. It would be nice to see some twins making that power. Are you set up non sequencial?

Enuff with the snow talk already...
Man, Ill be down there in a few weeks to also have S. Kan do a street tune with the mods Ive added.
Although my aspirations aren't near what your cars hitting (lookn for ~320-340rwhp)I cant wait to just drive down there and leave with a more potent beast.

Now now, don't jump to conclusions. Artguy has disappeared a couple times before. Awhile back I posted a question to him and it took several days for him to reply. Besides, he certainly doesn't have any reason to keep quiet regardless of what happened.

sorry for the delays guys. There are some issues with the car unrelated to the current tuning attempt we just did which have to get worked out. My company takes most of my time and so I can only get things done when time is there. It is easy to make time to go in and post on the boards...another couple days off to work on the car and stuff is harder to come by.
I will post the full story as soon as it is diagnosed and understood. Believe me, you will be interested in reading it. I will be posting new dyno sheets as soon as possible as well.
I imagine it will be at least thirty days before I am able to get back up there and do so....gotta round up cash to do more work ya know. there is always more to do and it can drive one crazy.
and no..it did not blow up on the dyno. the gotham guys are doing a great job.
steve kan is by far the most knowledgable rotary tuner I have dealt with to date. no one else will be tuning my car again other than him. He is very very gifted.
Ihor did do the bushings and the diff brace as well as a host of other little things. the car feels so much better. I actually smiled about that. Im not sure about the vibrations with the diff brace yet...I am told it will settle in a couple weeks of driving. The rear end bushings, however, made a night and day difference.
they painted the rear calipers and the wipers...even replaced the hood latch and a few plastic goodies. with those few things the car looks a little better already.
the new victoracers on wet roads feel like bald tires on ice. Ive yet to test them out on dry.
the water injection took 15 points off the knock sensor reading. how cool is that? I love breathing room. I can hear the pump though. If you go with water injection use some insulation or foam to muffle the sound of the pump inside your box with the pump and the tank to quiet it down.
Overall my experience dealing and working with the Gotham crew was great. They were very open, honest, and knowledgable. Rich made sure I was taken care of for sure. I will continue to work with them in the future.

PS...xs engineering is did an *** job with my timing maps...same with my afr's. stay away. they will overcharge you and will only do half the work that should be done. after they give you the shaft they wont share what they did or didnt do. I had to go to gotham just to find out what xs screwed up and failed to do. And believe me...it was enough to make my face turn red. very red. I paid a lot of money to do things right and didn't get it.
Thankfully the car is in the right hands now.
I will post in here when i know more.

No it's not Turbo'd
XS has lost their edge, I don't know who's in charge there, but I've heard nothing but stupid **** coming from them, from negative split to 12 degrees of advance...

Artguy,
Did Gotham do your WI setup? PM me your email, I'd love to find out what you think about it. I'm doing some experimentation now.
Also, I found a great new WI forum. I will be happy to post pics of my set up and links and experience if someone can host the pics.

You could also have them install a accumulator for the WI. This is a pressure storage tank mounted after the pump. It helps supply continuous pressure for the system. That way when your solenoids open to let the water in, the pump wont have to always come on. This will also prolong the pumps life.
