Tire softeners? for drag racing...better 60 fts.?

A week ago I was at a local dragstrip event and bolt on some 16" wheels w/M n H Racemasters.

I had to insert hard rubber inserts between the coil springs to elimanate the tire rubbing the body during the launch.

This might have stiffened the suspension too much. I could only get a average 1.8 60 ft. time.

I was thinking of adding some tire softener to the
M n H's. Like VP Bite. Any comments on this product?

Has anyone have any suggestions for improving 60 ft times? I have Koni-yellow w/Eibach springs and of course the M n H's mounted on lightweight 16" wheels.

jc.
