TIRE HELP! somebody
If you're making that kind of power, you simply don't have enough rubber on the stockers to get it down to the pavement. I lose traction on the 245/45's sometimes just in my nearly stock setup. You need wider rims ... 17x9's, 17x9.5's, or 18x10's. And then some big, meaty tires ... whatever your choice may be. I know, I know ... it's not cheap.
Right now i have 255/50/16's on her and they are horrible! My tires are Yokahama's and they are really soft, 100 treadware, but they spin untill the top of 3rd easy. I think im just going to get a set of throw down rims and put some DOT slicks on them. I need 10.5 inch slicks!
