Tie Rod Problems

Hey guys, i hit a curb the other day. I bent my driver's side lower control arm, shock, and tie rod. Today i removed the out tie rod link from the main hub assembly. Somehow, I cant figure out how to disconnect the Outer Tie Rod from the Inner Tie Rod. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to remove the Tie Rod?

TIA,
ALI

Ouch, you must have hit it pretty fricking hard to have bent the lower control arm....don't forget to replace the tie-rod on the other side of the car.

If you've already removed the tie rod from the knuckle, then you only have to unscrew it to remove it from the steering rack. IIRC, you can just unscrew it from the end of the threaded rod after loosening the lock nut.
