What are you referring to when you say "boots"?
I agree with both gentlemen above when they recommend changing the outer tie rod ends. They are not that expensive and can be purchased at any auto parts store. Just make sure you get an alignment done afterwards.
If you are referring to the plastic piece (black and crumpled up like accordian) that goes over the steering rack on each side, I do NOT think you can buy that at anyplace besides Mazda. Also, be aware that you will need to purchase them for both sides (they are different). Or, if you are only purchasing it for one side, you need to be specific.

The accordian looking boots on the inner are fine the black cover on the outer tie rod end on the passenger and driver side are cracked/torn open. Since I am replacing the springs and most of the other front suspension parts I thought it might be wise to fix this also so that I onlt have to get an alignment once.
