Throwout Bearing Bent?

Hello all, I recently put in a rebuild into my 93 and I was on the last step before the checklist. Anyhow, I was getting the release fork to catch by putting the throwout bearing (king crown) on it and I was pulling the throwout bearing out of the pressure plate just to the edge, but it came out. So I was prying it back in there and it bent one of the tips of the "crown" and the ring that goes around the "tips" of the crown kinda came with it. I really REALLY don't want to take the transmission out again, since I just put it in. Do I have to put a new one in or is there some way I can put it back into the pressure plate? Please help me, I've lost all my motivation and I don't know what I'm going to do.
I hope I am making sense

Thanks

Jack

I've gotten it bent back to 95% of where it was before, Can I put the throwout bearing onto the release bearing then use the slave to push both of them into the pressure plate?

ok, well I haven't gotten any feedback and have searched so I am going to take the transmission out and get a new throwout bearing. Can someone tell me how to get to the top and top right and left bolts on the tranny? Thanks

Sound like you need to take it to Garfinkle . Rest awhile and pull the trans then put in the pp and bearing with the ring in place on the input shaft with the clutch plate. now install the trans then bolt up the pp 6 bolts . all this is not hard .Turn the radio on ( not to loud ) and think it out .

Yeah, funny story. I called Ray up and said hey I need the throwout bearing (meaning to order the "king crown" piece thinking it was called this) and it came in...doh! wrong piece. I called him up he sent me the crown piece and I said ah, what the hey...I'll just put it in anyways. So that's the end to that. I just got the transmission back in there and I'm happy as all get out!
