Throwing Flames at WOT

I took my 3rd gen to a road course last week and a buddy that was following me with a camera showed me that I was throwing flames 8-12 inches from my exhaust at WOT like the Batmobile.

The car was running really hot and it was 89deg late that afternoon.

My mods are listed below and I still have the stock cat.

Am I running way too rich?

I think all rx7's run a little rich especially third gen's... mine does the same thing, but I am sure some more people will chime in and tell you a little more about the flames..

I was at the track with Borch and it was like a blow-torch was coming out of his tailpipe. I think he was running very rich, which wasn't a bad thing but it definitely contributed to the flamage and his fuel consumption.

Pretty rad stuff...

Well, I am assuming that the Pettit ECU has the car running rich, but I stil have the stock cat, so the exhaust isn't extremely free flowing.

Unfortunately, I don't want the car running that hot while I am on the track. I guess the next step is the IC to get more air to lean it out a bit?
