Throttle body removal

For all you seasoned hose job mechanics out there, I started on my hose job and have a question. How do you remove the gray electrical connector on the TB? It is on very tight with no slack in the wiring harness. I assume there is a release tab but I cannot see it?

Release tab on the outside towards the firewall. Push it in and pull. If it's stuck push the tab and gently pry between the base of the connector and the sensor and it will slide right off. There is not much slack, but enough.

Thumbs up Thx

Thanks Damon! I could see the tab and tried pushing it in and prying at the sametime but it did not budge. I will give it another try this Sat.

Mine was also stuck on there pretty good. Be aware that the connector can get somewhat brittle from the heat, so be careful about not accidently snapping the tab off.
