Throttle body coolant deletion how to requested

Hy Guys,

YES, I searched and YEs i found it on Rob Robinette's site but somehow it doesn't quite do the trick for me.

Does anyone have a clear how to on this modification? Maybe some people have done different styles of rerouting the coolant?

What parts did you use etc.

Many thanks,
Neal

Just take the hose off the TB and connect to the filler neck. It's not very hard, unless you want to add something to it.

you also need to wire the butterfly for the thermowax rod open or else you would have a high idle. Also make sure you cap everything.

Instead of wiring the thermowax rod open I just removed the spring on the screw and tightned it all the way down. worked like a charm.

Same as I did. Idle was exactly the same afterwards.

I would be gratefull to see some pics.

Many thanks again guys. I have searched a lot (doing that for the past 3 years) but with only 19 fd's being sold in Belgium in 1994 you understand that finding fellow drivers with extended mods is not that easy.
