I seriously doubt that the stock throttle body is a limiting factor in making power. Lots of people running over 400 rwhp don't seem to have a problem with the stock one. If you did get a bored out throttle body, it would probably require also port matching the upper and lower intake manifold to have any effect at all. That's a lot of money/and or effort for little benefit.

I found three different throttle body upgrades in my rx-7 book: REVOL, FEED, KnightSports. All 3 of them Bore the stock 45mm primary to 48mm and the secondary's from 50mm to 53mm. They cost Y58,000($504 with today's yen rate) for the REVOL/FEED, and the KnightSports Costs Y65,000($565)....not exactly a cheap upgrade. I know of people with over 600 rwhp and no problems with the stock throttle body, but if you're like some people I know...it's just another mod. Also, with a bigger throttle body, pressure drop should be decreased, but as to the overall benefits to a stock LIM/UIM combo, I can't exactly say that the price fits
