I bought replacement FK rod ends for my worn out aftermarket toe-links, and I was planning on re-using the threaded aluminum bodies. However, as with every project on Rx-7s I undertake, it was not that simple. The old rod ends are fused with the threaded aluminum bodies and WILL NOT unscrew. I dicked around for hours yesterday trying to get the old rod ends off. No dice. One of the rod ends actually twisted apart under the pressure of a vice and prybar when I tried (mightily) to unscrew it.

Does anyone know where to find replacement 6 inch threaded aluminum rod w/ 5/8 in RH and LH threads? I tried AMCO and a few other on-line places, but can't find any. Alternatively, does anyone know which supplier the aftermarket guys (petitt, m2, re, etc) use?
