Thoughts on back pressure caused by an ECV ~ Super Quiet Catless Exaust II

I'm about to install an apexi exhaust control valve. The valve completely closes leaving very area open for passage is this ok? (UNDER normal driving) Under high boost and high rpms the valve will be snapped open. I'm also deciding where to install it. As far foward to the downpipe to eliminate more noise or as far back to limit the heat build up when closed.

Where do you guys think?

Racing beat CB - (possible insert) [axel back] - Racing beat second pipe (possible insert) [catback] - resonated midpipe - (possible insert) - downpipe etc

Imput?

I believe someone on the RX-8 forum had one but it didn't do all they thought.

I would put it farther back - most anywhere will work for eliminating noise, and you want the mechanism away from the heat as much as possible.
