For those with M2/SR Intake boxes.

I have a fluidyne radiator, the bottom of the M2 Box seems to put pressure on the top radiator hose... Is this normal?

Was just curious, I know I had an aluminum SR box and later got a CF M2 box and same scenario... I have fluidyne rad and silicone hoses from Gotham racing, so I thought everything should fit ok.

Help/advice appreciated.

Some of the later Fluidyne radiators have a longer inlet tube for the upper radiator hose. I believe that Fluidyne changed the design so that people would not have to modify the plastic casing that holds the fans. The longer tube raises the upper radiator hose, causing fitment issues with the stock airbox, and apparently the M2 box as well.

My recommendation would be to remove the radiator, and shorten the inlet tube. You will have to cut the fan casing to get it to fit right. Do not put pressure on the upper radiator hose. This will restrict flow, and cause higher engine temps.
