Those with HKS TT TYpe 1

Yeah finally got the darn thing installed and one of the features that kinda sucks is the km/p reading. Well first of all does that feature read up to date current speed of how fast you're going because I couldn't get it to work.

And another thing about the rev speed reading on the Type 1, I noticed that on the factory tach once it starts to get about 2k rpms, the TYpe 1's rev meter is always higher by 1k rpms. Which one is more accurate?

Thanks.

the tach is more accurate. go to www.hksusa.com and find the manual and download it. It's better to read through it.

yeah, first and foremost it's a FATT. all the other features are crammed in there IMHO. if you want accuracy in speed and rpm, DataSystems makes pretty much the best stuff since that's all they do. there are others as well. don't believe the hks one though. i installed one over here and got the same problems. i'll only put on type0's now.
