Thinking of buyin rx-7

hi,
am thinking of buying a 1993 rx-7, I heard that it has engine overheating problems, is this true? Is this a big problem. Is there any other thing that I need to know about this car before my purchase.

Also there is this one that I found, I find it fishy that it only 26,000 miles on it and it selling for 8,500 and the seller said it 4 wheel drive.

Thank you.

$8500? I don't think I would trust an FD for that price, especially if he says it
has that little mileage w/ that price. Take it from me and all the input I've gotten
from this forum, you get what you pay for. Also, before everyone chews you out,
there is a newbie section which does answer alot of questions and has some links.
I'd say when I buy an FD, I'd look for one more in the 13-15k at least, but hey,
someone might not know what they have and need money. Also, 4wd, whats that guy smokin?

Sounds like a scam to me.

Mr. Plex, i recomend you read the stickies in this forum. People here are very helpful and for the most part know what they are talking about. But they do not apprecaite senseless questions, if you are curious about things like single turbos or such, use the search function on the tool bar of this forum. I found a lot of answers doing that when i first came here, and have been learning and reading since. Welcome, and good luck.
