thinking about purchasing used rx-7

hey everyone this is my first post here. i currently own a nissan 300zx. i am thinking about selling it to purchase a used rx-7 between the years 93 and 95. my question is: are there any differences in the car between those years? thanks.

Use search function. Also, in the archives, there are a couple threads that deal with buying/looking for rx7s. Be prepared to work on it a lot more than your z though.

they are all use in anycase, yes but mostly its all cosmetic. the only reason why one year might be more relible then the other is just because its newer and because later owners might have found out sooner that you must take much better care to maintain them. with rotaries engines, its not millage, its how you took care of it.

BTW: i think that fd's are easier to work on then 300zx becuase there is a bit more room, espeically if you get a fmic, remove a lot of useless stuff and relocate battery to the rear of the car. i have seen many 300zx engine bays and cant believe how tight everything is in there.
