Think it's finally going back together...missing anything?

IT'S ALIVE!!!
so, few more set backs tonight, but it's finally running. picked up the new (reman) alternator - looks brand new. bolted it up and checked everything. tried to crank the motor to build up oil pressure and realized that we somehow lost the water temp sensor and put the oil pressure sender in it's spot... lost about a quart of brand new oil to the floor. oops! ended up just plugging it with a cap until i can order a new water temp sensor (for now i just have to watch the water temp in the commander).
with that problem taken care of, and positive oil pressure, we tried to turn the motor over. errrr...one more problem: the fuel lines were reversed. pulled the UIM and swapped the fuel lines, then put it back together. turned the key...click, click, click, VROOOMMMMMMM.
once we got it running, we spent a good 15 minutes adjusting the idle to about 2500 rpm and burping the coolant. bled the clutch line and adjusted the idle down to 1300 rpm. smoked like crazy at first (mostly out of the exhaust) but eventually the smoke died down.
took it for a test drive. car idles a little rough still but it doesn't die. we realized the PFC map is wayyy too rich at lower rpms, especially since the turbos is non-seq now (the PFC came with the base-mod map). from idle to about 2800 rpm the car would acceleration was pretty choppy. derrick (owner of A.R.T. - see my sig) leaned out the map a little bit between 2400 - 2800 rpm. would leaned it out a bit more but he was just doing it thought the commander. tomorrow we're going to use the laptop & software w/ an AFR gauge to correct the lower rpm fuel curve.
here are a few pics. tomorrow we're going to tune it so it should be running nice! already the car wants to pull from 2800rpm on just giving it minimal throttle. i even have the the boost controller removed (and no restrictor pills) so the waste gate should be opening almost immediately. didn't hit any positive boost yet, but the car wanted to. i had to let off the throttle several times because it almost went positive.
some pics:
i can't wait to get my rpm's over 4k and be able to make positive boost. the car sounds sooo good! new cat-back comes tomorrow so it will be interesting to hear it after i put it on.
hey whats up buddy? yeah haven't talked to you in awhile. hope all is well. i actually took off the pettit HF cat and replaced it with an rx7store resonated midpipe, so i think it shouldn't be a problem not having the air pump.

Ok sounds good, and glad your engine is running again. I'm somewhat in thesame position right now. full rebuilt, non seq twins, streetport etc.
I hooked up my PFC the other night but my commander seems to fail on me.
Did yours work when putting the key in the preignition position? or does it only come online when the engines is really running?
I checked the power lines to the PFC ECu, those are OK and I have power to the fuel pump as well (checked on ECU, Fuel pump relais, fuel pump fuse and fuel pump connector)
I'll check the spark plugs next for spark. If they do, I think the ECU is OK. I just hope my commander ain't broken or the connection between commander and ECU.. that would be too bad...

Very nice work man. I feel your pain...I bought my FD back in April with a supposed 16k on the motor. Shortly after I got it, coolant seal started leaking. Had Dave @ KDR tear it down. Turned out rotor housings were trashed, irons were trashed, e-shaft and main bearings were junk, etc. I just got the car back, and it feels amazing. Got 500 miles of breakin on it, changed the oil, etc. Fortunately, I was able to reuse the apex/side/corner seals/springs. Those were about the only thing in the motor that WASNT obliterated. Anyway, it sounds like things are coming back together for you nicely, so enjoy the car!
By the way, I absolutely LOVE your interior!

busted the contacts off the alternator when putting it back together. (why the hell did they design it like that? there is no way to hold down the contacts while you put the housing back on! tried to drill a hole in the back of the housing, thinking it would allow me to hold down the contacts while i put the housing back on...didn't work haha). just waiting on another alternator to come...should be here today or tomorrow.

haha yeah crispy. out of the entire rebuild and reinstall process, the hardest thing to do was put the alternator back together...and that was the only thing that wasnt a success
oh i also my new cat-back came. HKS carbon/titanium. car sounds GREAT! now the exhaust setup is a ceramic coated down pipe, rx7store resonated midpipe, & hks carbon/titanium catback.
