Unhappy Things to consider when buying a 3rd gen?

Hello everyone.

I'm new to the group and read a lot of resourceful info. This site's been great.

I'm looking to buy a new 3rd gen sometime soon. I was just wondering what to look out for? Are there particular things that I sould be aware when I shop around? Anything that I need to check or ask?

Help~

DJ.
