Anyway i live in the nyc queens area it is easy to notice its a red 3rd gen body work was being done to it and the rear lights were stars (i bought it like that dont judge me lol) if anyone know anything id really appreciate it im sure i wont get this car back but hey i gotta try thanks

Wait, it's red and it happened on Christmas. I'm thinking the "fat man" took it. I would check the North Pole . No seriously I hope they find it but you should post a pic so people can get an idea.

What's up with ny cars getting stolen?
A nicely modded evo 9 with NY tags was stolen earlier this week at a nj mall. Kid was only in the mall for less than an hour. Seemed like the thieves followed him til he went inside, then did quick business to the car and left.
Be careful guys.

I Live in miami , and I'd be lying if I didn't see this often down here , not just with FD's either..
infact I'm terrified of parking my car anywhere but My dad's house because its gated.. I've been wondering what I'd do when I go back to my place where it isn't exactly the safest or places..
to the OP man all I can say is I'm really sorry , make sure you post the same thing on the regional forum , that is honestly one of my worst nightmares ..
so I can relate.. I hope they find your car good luck ..

Another thing to think about OP is your neighbors or any "friends" of friends who know your car/you. I am always cautious about people that come WITH my friend to see my car or come to my house for anything. Because i may know my friend who came but i have no idea who the hell the kid he brought with him. And you never know what his intentions are. Maybe he's innocent but told the wrong people about the type of car he just saw. Maybe he's a thief himself. Maybe your neighbors dont like you or your car so they have people to do something.
You just never know these days anymore.
Again sorry OP.

damn man that sucks! I am also in queens! I will keep my eyes open. I only parked my FD in the street for one day and I was standing in my window with a shotgun! I really hope it turns up somewhere or we gotta keep an eye out for parts! any pics of the car?
Also assuming you don't have full coverage on the car! as many of us don't!

Full coverage is like $60 extra a month on my policy i can't see being without it and my car never moves, sitting on ramps with no engine and full coverage.

I had full coverage on the fd since the day i had the keys to it.
Even in the early years where I would average 800 miles a year, still full coverage lol.
Can't see the car without it. Its worth the extra cash a month..
Btw the difference of full coverage and not is only 90 bucks. I have Geico.

Miami crime rate per capita is higher not to mention most drivers are fresh off the boat with no license or insurance and drive like they are still in a 3rd world country our insurance is most likely higher. I pay $180 for 3 cars full coverage, no accidents or tickets on my record. My insurance was going up after at my renewal date, i called them up and it went down instead.

After looking up rates in both nyc and Miami, we have one of the highest rates in the country mainly due to flooding and hurricanes. I live 2 blocks from the shoreline and we have already had one flood this year where i had to make a claim on one of our cars.
