I believe the Hitachi HT12s shaft and wheels are from the 99 spec turbos. You can just buy a set of 99 Spec Turbos or send your turbos to BNR to have them upgraded as well. I think that would a better option.

^--He's correct, if you want to keep twins, BNR's will be your cheapest, most efficient solution for something with a warranty.
Wrong answer. The stock twins are seen as "non-rebuildable" by some turbo guru's (turbonetics, BNR). I've heard the short term failure rate of rebuilt stock twins is well over 50%. I know my friend's 0 mile rebuilt twins were blowing smoke within the first 1500 miles.
And consider the fact that a set of low mileage stock twins can be had for around $300, it's just not worth rolling the dice.

i want to keep it all stock like under the hood.. and run stock style parts.. such as the twins.. the BNR's are fine and all but they will tempt me to run more power than i really want and im scared to realy go over 350whp cause ill be worried about my rear end breaking.. i hear the 3rd gen differentials dont last much beyond 350whp.. and if i had BNR's id prob try and get the most out of um..
if i am wrong please correct me..

With sequential BNRs, you won't see very much beyond 350whp. I've heard 380whp is the top with a ported motor.

fyi - Its not the rear end gears that fail. Its the differential case that fails due to wheel hop. HP levels don't play a role.
Spend some time searching and reading threads on here heidihi. Sounds like the people you are 'hearing' stuff from don't really know what they are talking about.
Also the 99 twins are OEM parts so it is technically stock.

If you get BNR's, they output almost the same power at similar pressure with the OEM twins. So if you just pretend they are OEM, you'll have a more reliable new twin set instead of a rebuilt one which won't last long. Also, they look the same as stock except for the BNR badge on the side. And if you ever get the urge, you can up the boost too

damn u all are good sales men! lol... so if i keep boost on the BNR's around 15psi, it will be roughlythe same as 15psi on the stockers just the BNR's will do it reliably? nice..
and my rear end wont shatter with that power too.. i shouldnt get wheel hop at all i dont think?
I have the rx7 launch kit and solid diff mounts, coil overs, and street tires.. i have no plan to run drag slicks.. my rear tires are 255/40zr17's and i could go a lil larger but why? they look darn good..
i think if wheel hop is the cause of it all.. then i should be verywell set to cure that problem.. if anything ill just smoke the tires on a hard launch.. but no drag racing for me.. maybe once a year but its just not my thing..

Just to offer additional info on setups... I'm running BNR's not because I want to boost 20 lbs (I don't have the supporting mods anyway), but because I just wanted to know that I had turbos that were going to work, guaranteed .. and not fuss over re-built or low-mileage stock twins that were "supposedly" working before removed, etc.
And like you said, to avoid increasing the boost, just stay with the stock pill's instead of some other expensive electronic boost controller, that way its "impossible" to turn up the boost. BNR's have ported wastegates .. or so I'm told (I never had a chance to look at mine - should have shipped them to myself instead of the mechanic), so you need not worry about free flowing exhausts generating boost creep/spike.
I'm also still running the stock ECU ... haha, with BNR's ... LOL. Anyone else doing that?! I would love to tell my mechanic about who else runs BNR's in a completely stock setup, haha.
PFC + electronic boost controller + Meth Injection = lots O $$$ ... maybe my Xmas bonus will pay for it, LOL, not!
And BNR's flow "better" than stockers. Many I've talked to say 10 lbs on BNR's is a little more like 11 on stockers... though I have yet to find out until I can get my PILLS!!! ?U?G?HGH

^ I'm doing this through breaking my motor in, which is now somewhere around 2200 miles... I do have a dumbed down AFR meter ( http://www.3barracing.com/product_3.htm) , which displays a color led (blue, green, yellow, red), but it's only useful at wot, which I haven't done yet ... shiet, I'm still only boosting 7 lbs .. no pills or jets installed yet. Sooo I'm not too worried about popping the motor at this point.
Obviously I would like to get a PFC down the road when my wallet recovers.

see i have bout every supporting mod possible for the twins except meth injection but im getting that also this winter right before i get dyno tuned.. so ill have everything to run the bnr's to there fullest but im just not really wishing that.. i just want a fast daily driving car thats reliable, and not worryin about ohh crao what if it breaks etc.. i want to avoid all that and keep my power around 350whp.. plus really if its sequential do i really need more power for the street?? exactly it will be plenty fast enough.

silly rabbit! rebuild the OEM twins...
take it from me the STOCK TWINS are not rebuildable, sure they can be rebuilt but they only last about 3-5K... I had a warranty when i bought my car, and they paid for 3 sets of rebuilt turbos because they kept going out. At $1700 a pop + labor! and no they would not spring for new ones. After my warranty ran out I was in denial so my mechanic rebuilt a couple more for me... key word a couple, meaning 2 more went out on me. So yeah they are not rebuildable.
now I went single so no more worries

Depends. I broke my rear just on a hard shift to 2nd racing Vosko. This was on street tires. I chipped a spider gear and the metal damaged the ring and pinion. The car was not drivable at all. It really depends on your driving style and the condition of the other driveline parts. If you have a strong clutch, stiffer motor mounts, upgraded differential bushings, etc something has to give.

well that sucks.. cause my weak link then would be my differential itself..
cause i have about all the mods for it besides the kaaz or cusso lsd units.. hmm i just dont wanna go cruising and get on it and then lock up my rear end..

It'll be fine if all your doing is street pulls occasionally >_>. Your thinking about this too much, It's not like your going to track the car. Just don't do burnouts to show off which damages the drivetrain regardless of power levels.
On another note, I've successfully taken the BNR twins to 17 PSi (1.2 kg/cm2 on PFC) with pump Sunoco 94 fuel @ 11.1 AFR with knock ratings of 1-5

thanks for the info man! the meth injection id want just for a lil extra protection.. id get it if i ever went over 15psi on anything anyways.. i think ill run my stockers at 14psi till they start going and then send off to BNR and while there out ill send the motor off to get rebuilt and ported. then i can come together to have a killer combo!! yay!

One last note on the BNR's... I wouldn't hose your current twins too much, not to the point where Bryan can't use them for cores... I had sent him a set and he said they just weren't in adequate condition and said he had a pair he could use that would be much better...
So case in point, the better the condition of the current twins you have when you send them to BNR, the better chances that they can actually be used... I would talk to Bryan for specifics before blowing the twins to oblivion
