are these turbos damaged from blown apex seal? *pics*
took my motor apart and found out one of the housing and one rotor is damaged from apex seal.(it looked way better than some other damaged housing pics I saw though)
other housing and rotor looks great with no damage.
are these turbos damaged? I looked at them closely but nothing is bent.
turbo 1. I think these are okay. 2nd pic has little bit of oil stain

Everything looks just fine. If they were damaged from an apex seal, you'd find bent fins and/or small chunks missing from the fins. I don't see any of that.

Edit: BTW, if an apex seal passed through the turbos, there wouldn't be any damage to the compressor wheel.

I don't know if this ever happens, but you might want to check to see if there is a chunk of apex seal lodged in the "scroll" part of the exhaust housing. It could dis-lodge later and cause some grief. Other than that, make sure the part of the turbine wheel that we can't see well in the pictures are straight and you should be good to go.

YOU MUST REMOVE THE TURBINE HOUSING to check for damage.

I've seen before a small, rectangular extending mirror used in combination with a flashlight to check the turbine blades through the exhaust port openings on each side. That is how I found out my turbine blades were chewed up after trying to pass a piece of the apex seal.
