thermostat help

Mine is bad. My overflow is leaking like a ****. Is there anyhting i can do about this besides replace it? I am ordering one from mazda trix, but I have a car show to go to today and I dont want it leaking like this. My friend just went out to buy me new radiator and waterpump caps. Im worried about it overheating. Good ol Koyo!
