i'm on the verge of purchasing an FD here in florida, but i'm going to school in dallas texas and will be bringing the FD. will the car be able to withstand the crucial summers deep in the heart of texas? and what reliability mods would i need to do in order to keep my stock FD alive? thanks for everything....arjay

I have no issues whatsoever here in Dallas. You should obviously make sure you have a fluidyne/koyo rad, alluminum AST (or no AST), and good air flow blockage around the radiator.

I also run Evans NPG+ for a measure of safety (maybe percieved measure, but makes me feel better!).

I am from Dallas too. It sould do good in the heat just again go with a upgraded radator such as fluidlyne or koyo and an alluminum AST. That should do ya good for the Tx. heat.
