temporarily disabling a greddy turbo timer

i didn't install the thing and i'm going to try and get things set quickly tonight so thought i'd ask...

is it as simple as unplugging it or what? i'm hoping to get the car in for inspection tomorrow and it's always a concern that the mechanic will turn the key to off and automatically take his foot off the clutch w/it in gear...that can't lead to anything good.

If you have a greddy turbo timer there should be a on/off switch, when you turn the car on just push the button on the left to shut it off and it will stay off until you push that button again to turn it on.

Temporarily disabling a turbo timer is a complete waste of time. A better use of your time would be to remove it permanently.

Don't just unplug it, if you do then you've disabled the ignition system
