FL Template for Rear Spoiler holes? (pic)

For years we've put up with a loose rear spoiler. Took it off yesterday and lo and behold 11 holes had been tried -- tried because only 3 of them would line up.

Going to have them filled/covered somehow -- But is there a template on line somewhere that I can get for a proper install? Old posts referenced one, but that site doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for any help

Holy crap. This proves that some people should not be allowed to buy tools.

if you search google for "fd3s spoiler template" it will be your first search result. I used the same template when I installed my spoiler and I got everything right on the first try. it should be a link off of fd3s.net

when you print the template, it will come out on multiple pages that you have to stick together. Measure the distances between the mounting points on your spoiler and use the measurements as a guide for putting together the template. i recommend using painters tape to hold the halves of the template together while you measure. measure 100 times and drill once.

when the body show was putting on my spoiler, they put like a chalk type thing or screws into the hole which they kinda places it on the body to see where it would go, and it left a mark for them to know where it goes

After thinking about it for maybe 8 seconds, this is what i thought, or if your scared about it not fitting correctly i would put painters tape on the hatch, put the spoiler how you like it while elevating it slightly with chalk so when it sits flush the holes appear. Then drill at the spots. Whoever drilled this was certainly not edukate.

why go thru the hasle of trying to mark the holes with the spoiler, remember spoiler has one studs on each end that wont allowed to sit flush on top of the lid , best thing is to use the hole pattern thats available online as posted by Pakitang.
